When society does I think its valid to. So right now - everything if you want. If we get back to wealth disparity levels from 50 years along with decent rights and working democracy. Then maybe tighten the ship. Certainly at the least money and corps need to be out of our democracy.

Yeah that is my reference item which I would need to get my condo association to allow which is why I was looking for the same but just a battery that charges and discharges. Ecoflow seems to have one but im not sure it does not send the excess out as it says you have to be setup for net metering. Still its a good answer and gives me a place to keep an eye. Im unemployed so if I do something like this it would be a year or more in the future.

Even if it was allowed in the state the association for most folks would likely be a bigger hurdle unless the law specifically said it had to be allowed. The ecoflow page has scratched my itch though. It was basically what I was looking for.

This looked so close and maybe it will work as it has to have net metering. I will look into it. Looks like if it does not support net metering than it requires something more.

Yeah it sounds like the panels have something like that. The main thing is it does not have to be wired in with an electrician.

Yeah the thing is the balcony solar seems to have this thing where it provides power to your home but prevents it from sending power to the grid. I figured well it would be great to have a battery do like that. Mainly because I could have it on the balcony without having to get the association to allow it. Might be able to do the same with the solar panels if I don’t hang them but that would decrease what they get from the sun even more.

yeah but I want something that will work with the whole house the way the balcony solar seems to. UPC’s only seem to power whats pugged into them.

good point. I do use one for my router and I was thinking it would be nice to have the whole house going for smaller outages and that might make up for it. Also I feel like I could sneak it in easier at my condo. EDITED - Just looked it up and the high is 4x higher than the low and its a short span when it is real high and much longer overnight cheap. I think it might be worth it.

don’t forget that they are killing off section 8 and medicaid so they will also be dumping the poors into homelessness.

I would love transit to be free for locals and a bit like the library where they can revoke your privleges if you are not behaving yourself. For non locals I would want them to do like a pretty good deal daily pass to encourage going to various places on their visit and not stay in one area.

yup and can further just be meaningless to some. again when put at the start or end so its skippable for whoever wants to skip. I mean I may want to do primal screams right before while some want to do moments of silence. to each his own.

pfft. Certainly. Defensive of my time usage and boredom. How about everyone spends an hour going through a 6 minutes on the top ten most popular beliefs. As I said as long as I know I can just come after or skip it if its placed after. The main thing is to identify when the real thing begins and when the fluff takes place. Better for it to be after so that you don’t come and get the people who are like well the fluff started late so we still need a few for it. The main thing is respect. Let those who want ceremony to break into whatever groups represent their particular ceremonies with dedicated time and let those who don’t want that part to skip it.

As an athiest not exactly defensive but more like, how about we appreciate it without the mumbo jumbo. I can’t see making cleanups and such mandatory but I love them as social activities. If I can walk my dog and socialize with folks and cleanup a nice natural area thats like a triple win.
