You called them looters and rioters in 2020, they were the last vestiges of the civil rights movement.

I think it’s cool to see so much support and that people aren’t too afraid or apathetic to come out
I also have to aknowledge that nothing has meaningfully changed as a result of tens of millions of protesters gathering, and I think that’s a uniquely American idea to think that we can just stand around and things will change for the better.
The entire idea of “peaceful protest” exists to stop Americans from enacting the violence that has been necessary for every single victory the worker or individual has earned in our country’s history.
It’s extremely important to understand that EVERY SINGLE RIGHT YOU HAVE IS A RESULT OF ORGANIZED VIOLENCE.

Hopefully, the leadership of these protests starts asking people to do more than stand around with signs, hoping that the fascists just quit on their own.

Look, I liked their policies too, they got a lot of money put twoards green energy.
But a party that can’t do what is required to stay in power will get voted out due to voter apathy.
The thing they need to do to stay in power is to put more money in the hands of the people, who have less money every year.
We have reached a point where the only way to do that is to redistribute the wealth in some way, and no party wants to upset their rich doners, so we are stuck in this cycle of voting out the incumbent until that happens.

Both are invalid options if we want representatives that represent us.
The police will crack down whether or not it’s “justified”
If the people of the United States want to revoke the state’s monopoly on violence, then it requires committing violence against the people who continue to enforce it.
